But.... it's a dry heat.

*Sigh*.... Arizona  isn't hot. It's scorching.
Blistering.
Scalding..

I come from a small town at the end of a dirt road, somewhere in between forests of cactus and fields of cotton. So it's not necessarily the heat that makes Arizona feel like home, but the sun. Ninety degrees would feel like heaven right about now, but we don't see those temps until around midnight. And it's as if I automatically tan two shades darker as soon as the temps hit 95 degrees in May.  Living in this swelter does make it challenging to act like a lady while trying to stay cool. Thank God for Air Conditioning and Iced Sweet Tea.
